I am back!

Being both busy and lazy, I have not posted for years though a lot has come about worth posting about. Now that there is extra time in my life, hopefully I will not slip again.
For a number of years, a ganglion cyst nestled on my left wrist. It would come and go and be forgotten until the 18 months or so, it took personal residence and cause a little pain. After a few doctor appointments, it was aspirated and returned three weeks later. Doctor said there was a 50/50 chance of this happening but out of desperation, I did not care as it was some relief until the surgery would be scheduled. After a fun trip to Belize, surgery was scheduled for two weeks later. I was ready to finally part ways with Gregory the Ganglion and get back on to feel 100% again. Surgery went well with very little pain, with the exception of rolling over on the wound while trying to find a comfortable place to sleep. My wrist was wrapped in a partial cast covering about 1/3 my arm. It was quite uncomfortable and difficult trying to lifting things ans showering. The worst was not being able to ride my bike for over two weeks. I nearly lost my mind. 11 days post surgery the cast and sutures were removed bearing a nearly perfect scar. I was impressed by how well Doctor lined and stitched everything up. He has skills.
A few months later, my hand still tingles and Gregory seems to want to visit from time to time. It noticed another lump on my wrist that hurt like never before. Days later, the lump took a hike and caused swelling around the entire wrist. Now the swelling has subsided and again, I have to always be aware of what I am doing otherwise I won't be able to do too much.

Since I have some extra time, my plan is to enter sweepstakes, find free rebateable items, manage my airline mileage accounts, dig a lot of dirt in the garden (so long as Gregory stays at bay) and concoct recipes. I may even take a trip somewhere.
